Tic Tac Toe For Two is built for instant two-player tic tac toe without accounts, guest accounts, payments, ads, analytics, or third-party tracking.

Private Links

A private room link contains a random room ID. Share it only with the player you want to invite. Hosting access logs may include requested room URLs, but the player tokens that let each browser reconnect are not placed in the invite link.

Browser Storage

The browser stores the room ID, player mark, and a reconnect token in localStorage for rooms you join or create. This lets the same browser rejoin after a reload while the room still exists.

Server Memory

Rooms are held in server memory with the board, player marks, reconnect tokens, timestamps, and rematch count. Rooms expire after 24 hours of inactivity and also disappear if the server restarts.

Tracking

This version does not use analytics, advertising pixels, payments, or embedded social widgets. Adding any of those later requires an explicit product decision and updated privacy text first.
